The Grand Anse is our most popular room, it is normally reserved weeks ahead of time and it's not hard to understand why. It is named after the Grand Anse Valley and River. It features a very comfortable queen size bed, love seat, captain chair, private closet, in-suite "two-seater" whirlpool, a private washroom complete with toilet, shower and pedestal sink and satellite television with DVD player.

The Mac Kenzie

The Mac Kenzie is seeing its first year of operation. It was named after the Mac Kenzie Mountain and river in the Cape Breton Highlands National Park. It features a private closet, comfortable double bed, dresser, sofa, electric fire place and satellite television with DVD player. The Mac Kenzie also has a private bathroom with shower, toilet and sink.

The Shieling

The Shieling was the first room to be licensed by the Nova Scotia Tourism Division. Still a popular room, the Shieling was named after a replica of a Scottish homestead in the Cape Breton Highlands National Park. It features a comfortable double bed, dresser, rocking chair as well as a double closet and satellite television with DVD player. Plans are in the works to add a private bathroom with whirlpool, separate shower, sink and toilet as well as the addition of a private spacious deck and entrance. For now, guests of the Shieling are sharing the house's main bathroom with the hosts which features a Whirlpool tub/shower with toilet and sink.
